Creating A Comfortable Home For Everyone

My City Bed is built on respect, cleanliness, safety, and community. These guidelines help create an enjoyable living environment for all residents.

Respect For Others

Every resident deserves a peaceful, safe, and welcoming place to call home.

Please treat fellow residents, staff, neighbors, and visitors with courtesy and respect at all times. Harassment, threats, discrimination, aggressive behavior, or repeated disruption of the community may result in immediate termination of residency.

Residents who consistently fail to fit within the community environment may be asked to leave.

Quiet Hours

To respect residents who work, study, or rest at different schedules, quiet hours are observed:

Sunday through Thursday:

11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

During quiet hours:

* Keep conversations low

* Use headphones for music, videos, and gaming

* Avoid loud phone calls

* Respect neighboring residents and nearby homes

Outdoor gatherings must also remain quiet and respectful during these hours.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the home.

This includes:

* Cigarettes

* Cigars

* Pipes

* Hookahs

* Vapes

* Marijuana

* Any smoking device or smoking product

Designated outdoor smoking areas may be provided. Residents are expected to dispose of cigarette butts and waste properly.

Kitchen Cleanliness

The kitchen is a shared community space and must remain clean for everyone.

After using the kitchen:

* Wash dishes immediately after use

* Dry and return items to their proper location

* Wipe counters and cooking surfaces

* Clean spills immediately

* Dispose of food waste properly

Do not leave dishes, cookware, cups, or utensils in sinks overnight.

A clean kitchen benefits everyone.

Dishes, Glasses & Utensils

All dishes, cookware, glasses, cups, silverware, and kitchen supplies are provided for community use.

Residents may enjoy meals anywhere within the common areas, including:

* Kitchen

* Dining area

* Living room

* Outdoor seating areas

However:

* Dishes and utensils must be returned promptly

* All items must be washed immediately after use

* Kitchen items may not be stored in private suites

This policy helps maintain cleanliness and prevent pests.

Food Storage

Food may only be stored in designated kitchen areas.

Food storage inside private suites is not permitted.

This helps:

* Maintain cleanliness

* Prevent insects and pests

* Eliminate odors

* Protect shared living standards

Residents are welcome to enjoy meals throughout the home but should return all food items to designated kitchen storage areas afterward.

Private Suites

Private suites are intended for:

* Sleeping

* Studying

* Working

* Relaxing

Each suite is assigned a unique number for identification purposes.

Residents are expected to keep their suite clean, organized, and free from excessive clutter.

Bedding & Linen Care

Clean bedding is essential to a healthy living environment.

Residents are responsible for washing their sheets, pillowcases, and bedding regularly.

At minimum:

All bedding must be washed at least once every 30 days.

More frequent washing is strongly encouraged.

Laundry Facilities

Washers and dryers are available for resident use.

Laundry Hours:

7:00 AM – 10:00 PM

Last wash cycle begins at:

9:00 PM

Please remove laundry promptly after cycles are completed and leave machines clean for the next resident.

Visitors

Visitors are welcome during reasonable hours.

Residents are responsible for the conduct of their guests.

Visitors may not:

* Stay overnight without approval

* Use the home as their residence

* Repeatedly occupy the property as non-paying residents

Anyone staying regularly must become an approved resident.

Security & Safety

For everyone’s protection:

* The front door must remain locked at all times

* Do not provide access codes or keys to unauthorized individuals

* Report suspicious activity immediately

* Follow all posted safety guidelines

Security is everyone’s responsibility.

Pets

Pets are not permitted.

This includes:

* Dogs

* Cats

* Birds

* Reptiles

* Fish tanks

* Any other animals

Exceptions will only be made where required by law.

Community Spaces

Residents are expected to clean up after themselves in all common areas.

This includes:

* Living rooms

* Dining areas

* Kitchens

* Outdoor spaces

* Bathrooms

* Laundry areas

Leave every space in the same condition—or better—than you found it.

Damage To Property

Residents are financially responsible for damage caused by themselves or their guests beyond normal wear and tear.

The security deposit may be used to cover repair or replacement costs when necessary.

By living here, residents agree to support these standards and help create a positive community for everyone.
